Electoral-vote.com: What lead?
Barack Obama’s lead in the Electoral-vote.com poll remains but not by much. After seeing Indiana and Nevada (both 2004 Red states) shift to John McCain, the count is now 264-261 Obama, with Virginia’s 13 electoral votes as the only state undecided. This means that heading into the DNC convention, Obama is ahead in just IA and NM, 2004 Red States, meaning the 2008 race is finally leveling out into one that the GOP could win.
All of this talk of a Obama landslide, for the moment anyway, seems downright premature.
