An Obama-Bayh Ticket? - Howey Politics Indiana
Obama-Bayh would like put Indiana in play and overall, would be viewed as pretty good for many involved. Still, this could be another trial balloon. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised if Obama’s pick coming within the next 72 hours, given that the Olympics start on Friday, which will virtually snuff out political coverage for at least the next two weeks. However, not sure how two Senators on the ticket would look.
Given that recent balloons seem to indicate a Bayh or Tim Kaine (Virginia) pick, it is clear that the Obama campaign is trying to expand the electoral map to include red states.
